Music in the Valley and on the Hills This Weekend

SteveKelly_OccasionalJazzJudging by the number of concerts and openings at the colleges this weekend, it must be Spring.  As always, there is a lot of great music and art off the campuses too.  It’s a good opportunity to get out and check out some of the amazing cultural assets in our cool little community.

Saturday, April 26th: Viking Chorus/Manitou Singers, 3:30 p.m., Boe Chapel on the St. Olaf College campus; Johnny Azari, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Contented Cow; Bernie King & the Guilty Pleasures; 8:00 p.m., Tavern Lounge; Chinese Kunqu Opera, 8:00 to 9:30 p.m., Concert Hall on the Carleton College campus; and Forest and the Rangers, 8:00 to 10:30 p.m., Contented Cow.
