The Northfield Downtown Development Corporation (NDDC) is pleased to announce Commercial Property Taxpayer’s Specials, Friday, May 15th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at select establishments in historic downtown Northfield. Northfield Retailers Work on Market Area Profile

UofMNfldMapSession2.jpgThe Four Partners of Economic Development (the EDA, the NEC, the Chamber and the NDDC) are pushing forward on the Northfield Market Area Plan. Yesterday Northfield business people met with the University of Minnesota in the second phase of the work.

A dozen or so invitees, representing both of Northfield’s major retail districts, reviewed the geographic boundaries of our market, studied the characteristics of our primary customers, and analyzed area residents’ spending across 73 store categories. The group also brain-stormed product potential and key messages for our customer base. (more…)

Colleges Share Resource Opportunities with Community

Girls Nite Out – This Friday Night!

GirlsNiteOut.JPGThis Friday, May 8th, it’s the third annual Girls Nite Out in Northfield.

From 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., come on down(town) for food, fun, and friends.

Activities include the following:

5:00 – 9:00 – Shopping and special events at participating businesses

9:30 – GRAND PRIZE DRAWING at the Grand (must be present to win)

9:30 – Appetizers, dancing, and dessert

12:00-1:00 – Continue downtown to participating restaurants and bars for more Girls Nite Out Specials!!!
